I know it’s been quiet in these Noir streets, but we are recharged, rejuvenated and back to the blogosphere ready to revive it all.
I am just back from a whirlwind last minute trip to Budapest in Hungary (read about the previous trip here) where we stayed for a couple of days before leaving for Porto in Portugal for another few days, coming back to Dublin via Lisbon. It was mostly a working trip but got enough time, particularly in Porto to indulge in a bit of tourist behaviour. View Post

At the end of 2018 I had the pleasure of a weekend visit to the Capital city of Poland, Warsaw also known as the ‘Phoenix City’ because of its ability to rebuild itself after the war and the destruction that came with it. Warsaw is a young and cosmopolitan city but it is the Old Town that is the epicenter and where we spent most of our time. View Post
Copenhagen has topped the Lonely Planet top 10 list of cities to visit in 2019. They describe it as ‘the ‘capital of cool’, Scandinavia’s undisputed ‘It Kid’, an ever evolving, forever surprising epicenter of show-stopping dining, innovative design and enviably good living’ and I couldn’t agree more.

So this past week has been the first time in a long time that I have actually felt the pinch of the cold autumn air. I have been holding on to the summer or the the thought of it for far too long.
