5 Natural Hairstyles in 5 Days…

I think its safe to say Thank God Its Friday!!! Its been one long week but an exciting one as well. I say exciting because I had such a fun time completing the 5 styles in 5 days challenge.

Normally I would wear my hair in one protective style or two during the week and let it loose at the weekend . So it was quite the challenge wearing it in 5 different ways for 5 consecutive days.

Day 1

Making a centre part, roll and tuck the hair inwards and secure with bobby pins. This is a very easy style that can be completed in less than 5 minutes

Day 2

This style takes me way back to school days. Using wool/thread, tie it around sections of the hair from root to tip. Bring the hair back and make it into a bun. Add marley hair to make a fuller bun if desired.

Day 3

Day 3 was plaits and twists. Divide the hair into front and back sections. Plait the two separate lines in the back and cross over the ends and secure using bobby pins into a ‘U’ shape. In the front, make a few chunky twists and pin back with bobby pins.

Day 4

Another easy style, flat twist the front and bring all the hair back into a bun. Open the centre up to make the bun into a doughnut shape and presto, you are all done!

Day 5

Yey, honey we made it! On this last day I decide to let the hair ‘flow’ freely with the bantu knot out. This is definitely one of my go to styles. (click here for method)

I do hope you enjoyed this little challenge as much as I did. Do share your go to styles. Lets chat!!

Till next time

Nice hair styles! I also like the formatting of your blog post. I never get my posts to look so good.
